Meeting with client

Today we have asked our classroom client some questions about an image or emblem to represent our class which is cooking and graphics. for insists, we asked our client what he or shes interested in relating to graphics and cooking the client replayed with   I would like you to combine the fact that food and graphics are taught in the building. The wall is opposite the creek so maybe using natural shapes and images could work too. And so I thought that is could look like this but in a word.

The main purpose of Nathan and Oscar’s trip was to find out where they came from so they went out for a journey all over the world. First they went to Rarotonga then Samoa then Vanuatu and then Taiwan.
Some of the interesting discoveries that they came across on their journey were in Aotearoa because they found where the first waka was from. The name was takitimu. Nathan also found out that he was a descendant of Maui.
From my point of view, I thought that it was telling us a lot about them and the history of them.It was inspiring now that i know that Polynesians originated from Asia.

Today we did a 12 by 12 if you don't know what 12 by 12 is basically you randomly put Numbers between 12 and 1 like my image and you have 10 minutes to finish it but I did not finish.

The jelly bean and tooth pick challenge

Today we were learning about technological process we made a jelly bean and tooth pick structure that would hold books we had five steps first was brainstorm then research then plan or design then create and then present.First we made five boxs out of the tooth pick and jelly beans and then we did another layer after that we had three more minutes and did double the tooth pick so it can be steady when. We tested ours our one was holding the most which was seven we had five in every group.And the winner was my group I was very happy.

The awesome trip at Polyfest

On Thursday the 16th of mar 2017 Team 5 went to Polyfest!! There were four teams my mum Ane, Miss Iloa, Mrs sio, and someone else's aunty we did the role and then room 5 got up and we were walking too the bus my mum was thinking how to say our groups names. In my group was Me my mum, Kosini, Ajani, Siokita, Hendrix and Marshal.


My very first highlight was when my mum bought us oite it tasted like a tropical drink.It was kind of funny because my group was saying you must be rich I was thinking did they look at the sign cause it was 1 dollar.


Watching the school's dance at the stage it was funny we got to see some cool dance moves like the running man some break dancing moves and just funny dancing we had a dance competition and the lady was picking 4 people to go on the stage and see who is the best there was I kid about 11 or 10 a Indian man two of them and three special need people.  


I think the funny’s highlight was when Marshal asked one girl about were the got the fire man hats  and then more girls came to tell him where to go and they were giving him information where to go it was actually good information she said it was next to the maoried stage so we walked there.
